Full job description
    Location: Leicester with hybrid working Salary: £30,000\-£35,000pa
    As part of the second\-line Operational Risk team, you would provide oversight and advisory support to business areas regarding the management of their operational and conduct risks. You would engage at multiple levels to ensure that risk management processes are being undertaken in an accurate and timely manner.
    If you have experience of operational risk management techniques, including the identification, assessment and mitigation of operational and conduct risks, then we would love to hear from you.
    About you
    For this role you will also need the following skills and experience:
    Able to provide credible questioning to business area management, regarding their response to risk exposures and events
    Experience of undertaking control testing, including identifying and agreeing improvement opportunities
    Experience working in financial services in a Risk Management, Internal Audit, or Compliance Monitoring role
    Practical experience of IT systems, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
    Possesses the highest level of integrity coupled with the ability to deliver good customers, regulatory and commercial outcomes
    Excellent report writing ability
    An understanding of UK regulations relating to the management of operational and conduct risks is desirable
