Responsibilities
  • serve as local HR responsible for two legal entities and a number of representative offices
  • implement and execute policies and initiatives
  • translate strategic HR needs into local activities
  • advise local employees and management
  • cover the full spectrum of HR work including recruitment, employee retention, and engagement
  • translate global HR strategy and develop local HR policies
  • promote change management and drive local initiatives
  • oversee recruitment activities and manage performance management process
Requirements
  • degree in business administration, human resources management or comparable qualification
  • minimum 5 years of experience in a comparable HR role with a strong background in HR operations
  • professional certification, e.g., Human Resource Professional (IHRP) is a plus
  • working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines
  • solid understanding of Asian labor law is preferred
  • team player with good communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills
  • proven ability to translate and execute HR strategies in a matrix environment
  • strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills in English
  • knowledge and experience with varied HR information systems and office software
  • proficient in Microsoft Office
