Requirements

- Position: Maintenance Coordinator
Pay: £14\.36 per hour (£28,002\.00 per annum)
Location: Across all YMCA Norfolk sites (Countywide)
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours per week: 37\.5 hours

What Youll Be Doing
Provide and oversee day\-to \-day maintenance operations across multiple YMCA sites, handling both reactive repairs and planned maintenance.
Coordinate external contractors, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Support compliance with health \& safety regulations and YMCA Norfolks internal policies.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and contribute to budget management.
Advise site managers on maintenance as well as safety issues in the absence of the Health, Safety and Compliance Manager.
Contribute to strategic planning by attending team meetings and supporting cross\-organisational projects.
Champion safeguarding and uphold YMCAs values in every aspect of your work.

What youll need to succeed
Minimum 3 years experience in a maintenance or facilities role.
Practical skills in joinery, building, plumbing or electrical work.
A recognised apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in a relevant discipline (desirable).
Strong understanding of health \& safety legislation and compliance.
A full UK driving licence
Ability to work independently, manage your time, and adapt to changing priorities.
A flexible, proactive mindset and a genuine commitment to YMCAs mission.
