Responsibilities
  • Conducting internal investigations with managers and employees regarding reports of misconduct
  • Providing HR support and guidance to management and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise
  • Executing routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations
  • Creating and writing company policies under the direction of the Director of Employee Relations and Chief Human Resources Officer
  • Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and recommended best practices
  • Attending unemployment hearings via phone to represent the organization while providing evidence to support claims
  • All other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required
  • 5 years of HR management preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws, regulations, and HR best practices
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn ADP Workforce Now HRIS
