Responsibilities
- monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment
- administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately in electronic health records
- collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- provide education to patients and families regarding their conditions, treatments, and home care needs
- perform procedures such as IV insertion, catheterization, and phlebotomy as needed
- respond promptly to changes in patient conditions, initiating appropriate interventions

Requirements
- valid nursing license
- experience in telemetry or critical care settings
- proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic or Cerner
- familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding and medical terminology
- experience in nursing specialties such as acute care, emergency medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, hospice & palliative medicine, and trauma medicine
- knowledge of patient assessment techniques and basic life support protocols
- experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
- strong understanding of physiology and anatomy

Duties
Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Provide education to patients and families regarding their conditions, treatments, and home care needs

Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
A valid nursing license with experience in telemetry or critical care settings
Proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic or Cerner
Familiarity with ICD\-9/ICD\-10 coding and medical terminology
Experience in various nursing specialties including but not limited to acute care, emergency medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, hospice \& palliative medicine, and trauma medicine
Knowledge of patient assessment techniques and basic life support (BLS) protocols
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in memory care settings is a plus
Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and infection control practices
