About the Role
The Contractor Consultants is now accepting applications for an experienced and driven Underground Utility Project Manager to join a highly respected, family\-owned electrical and underground utility contractor. This role is ideal for someone with prior project management experience in construction, or a degree in Construction Management or Engineering looking to step into a leadership role.
As an Underground Utility Project Manager, you'll oversee project planning, resource management, and coordination with crews and subcontractors to ensure successful delivery across a variety of infrastructure projects\-including street lighting, traffic signals, fiber optics, and underground utilities.
Who You'll Be Working With
Our client is a trusted name in the heavy highway and infrastructure space, established in 2008\. Their projects include traffic signal systems, high mast and park lighting, airport lighting, and underground phone, cable, power feeders, and fiber systems. With a proven commitment to safety, training, and performance, they've built long\-term partnerships across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day\-to\-day project execution from start to finish
Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and documentation
Schedule inspections, manage change orders, and track job costs
Review contracts, submittals, and work plans for accuracy and compliance
Ensure all safety standards and regulations are met or exceeded
Participate in job site walks and quality control reviews
Collaborate closely with clients, engineers, and internal teams
Communicate project updates and status to leadership regularly
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field \
