    Responsibilities/Job Duties:
    Lead recruitment strategies to attract top talent and reduce time-to-fill for open positions.
    Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions;
    Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
    Design and implement effective onboarding processes to enhance employee retention.
    Manages employee training and development programs, assessing effectiveness and identifying needs for improvement.
    Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
    Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
    Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
    Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
    Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS (Human Resource Information System).
    Assist in the administration of employee benefits and compensation programs.
    Contribute to the performance management process, including tracking performance reviews and providing support to managers.
    Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
    Provide guidance to employees on HR-related inquiries and assist in resolving employee relations issues.
    Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify trends and areas of improvement.
    Ensure compliance with multi-state labor laws and regulations.
    Perform other duties as assigned.
    Requirements:
    Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations in multiple states.
    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as needed to complete reports.
    Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
    Excellent time management, organizational skills and attention to detail.
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

    Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
    Education/Experience:
    Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
    4+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
    SHRM certification a plus.
    Physical Requirements:
    Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
    Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
    * Able to travel at least 15% of the time to other offices.
