    JOB SUMMARY
    Evaluate, troubleshoot and repair Systems, industrial instrumentation and process control devices restoring operation to original specifications per Yokogawa Corporation standards. Evaluate all products for restocking.
    DUTIES/RESULTS Properly operate both common and specialized test equipment in the performance of assigned tasks.
    Properly operate ¾ of a million dollar test equipment for QA approved Calibration certificates which are NIST traceable
    These certificates are then maintained by Corporate Document Control for reference by customers, EPA and other governmental agencies Maintains Repair Center facilities, documentation and equipment.
    Performs component level repairs and calibration on Digital Control systems, field instruments, analytical instruments, Digital Acquisition Systems, TMI and Meter products per YCA standards.
    Accurate and timely completion of all documentation associated with assigned tasks. Including entry of quality data on work completed for certifying equality to factory specifications
    Receives training and works toward mastering repair of two product families and specializing in industrial instrumentation and process control devices ,M\&I ,Systems, COMMS, or TMI.
    Always prepared to train other Technicians on their specialty product families
    Responsible for assisting Technicians in overcoming technical and procedural problems in their jobs.
    Responsible for providing uncompromising quality to all work processes in designated area of responsibility. Has the authority to stop those processes at any time it is believed quality is being compromised.
    Must be able to work with minimum supervision and manage their time for the best productivity.
    Must be self\-motivated and thorough.
    Supports and assists the Service Division in meeting their “Customer Satisfaction” and business goals.
    Strong communications skills are required.
    Performs other duties as assigned.
    SPECIFICATIONS
    Education: Two (2\) year degree in appropriate discipline or equivalent, including military.
    Prior Experience: Five (5\) years experience in service and /or repair environment.
    Specific Skills: Skilled in hand soldering of electronic components. Provide technical training to other service technicians through hands\-on training. Participate in individual and team problem solving missions, and provide management with solutions.
