Responsibilities

- Position: Product Manager \
- β’ Occasional in\-office requirement (Murray, KY) Position Summary: The Product Manager is the connective tissue between business, technology, and user experience. This role leads the charge from idea to delivery β identifying opportunities, defining requirements, and ensuring products solve real customer problems while achieving business goals.
As part of a cross\-functional product triad (PM, PO, Design/Eng), the Product Manager is responsible for the value and viability of the product, while supervising the Product Owner to ensure clear priorities, a well\-groomed backlog, and smooth day\-to\-day delivery.
Summary of Responsibilities
1\. Discovery \& Strategy
Conduct ongoing customer discovery to deeply understand user needs and problems
Evaluate new opportunities based on impact, feasibility, and strategic fit
Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technology
2\. Roadmap \& Planning
Translate customer insights into actionable problems, features, and solutions
Define, maintain, and communicate product roadmaps aligned with strategic goals
Use Now / Next / Later frameworks to organize work across multiple horizons
3\. Product Delivery
Write clear product requirements and success criteria
Collaborate with Product Owner and engineering to prioritize the backlog
Support iterative prototyping and validation with users
Own the full product lifecycle β from launch through iteration and eventual sunset
4\. Team \& Stakeholder Collaboration
Provides leadership within the product triad and acts as the point of alignment across product, engineering, and business functions.
Partner with Sales, CS, Content, Training, Support, and Marketing to ensure go\-to\-market success
5\. Measurement \& Improvement
Use qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate product success
Continuously improve product workflows, processes, and team practices
Tools \& Additional Responsibilities
Supervise and mentor the Product Owner to ensure:
Backlog is prioritized based on value and effort
User stories are detailed and tied to outcomes
Delivery is aligned with product strategy
Ensure product documentation is centralized, accessible, and linked to work
Participate in customer meetings, internal demos, and release readiness
Own internal and external product communication
Qualifications/Experience
3β5 years of product management or equivalent experience
Proven experience delivering products in Agile or iterative environments
Experience working with engineering teams to technical trade\-offs and architectural decisions
Comfortable with backlog management tools (e.g. Jira, ADO, or similar)
Experience with product collaboration tools a plus (e.g. Productboard, Confluence, Figma, Miro, Lucid)
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non\-technical stakeholders
Bachelorβs degree in business, technology, or related field preferred
