Responsibilities
  • Provide access control where applicable, to include managing access for contractors and delivery personnel
  • Conduct general as well as focused patrols (interior and exterior) looking for hazards, building deficiencies, insecure premises, criminal or prohibited activity, suspicious persons, suspicious activities, items, or vehicles
  • Respond to a varied array of 'calls for service' as well as provide first responder services for all security and life safety emergencies and incidents
  • Document and report incidents accurately, ensuring all relevant details are captured for future reference and analysis
  • Maintain clear and professional communication through email correspondence with team members and other stakeholders
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to security across all operations
  • Maintain accurate logs of incidents, inspections, and other relevant documentation for compliance and review
  • Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems to detect and prevent security breaches
Requirements
  • Experience in critical environments where decision making and actions can impact life-safety and business continuity
  • Excellent administrative and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and security management software
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • 2-3 years of experience working in corporate security
  • Must have a valid Ontario Security License
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • First Aid and CPR

    Shifts: Sunday 11:00\-18:00, Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday 15:30\-22:00

    Overview :
    We are currently seeking experienced and qualified security professionals to join our team in a dynamic retail environment. This role involves responding to a wide range of service calls and providing first responder support during security\-related and life safety incidents and emergencies.

    RESPONSIBILITIES :
