Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective Transportation planning, budgeting, policies, and procedures
• Ensure excellent communications with customers and meet their expectations
• Maintain safety records for all drivers and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Schedule, supervise, and appraise Transportation personnel
• Conduct employee training and identify training needs
• Participate in the HACCP team

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years experience in multiple stop dispatch operation
• Minimum 5 years experience in Transportation Supervision and/or Transportation Management experience
• Prior experience with computerized log systems
• Prior experience working in a unionized environment
• Knowledge of transportation equipment and operations
• Strong knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
