Full job description
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Greeting patrons, scanning tickets, and directing them to their seats.
Providing direction to the building's facilities, such as our restrooms, bars, box office, etc...
Assisting guests with seating issues and directing them to the box office for further assistance when necessary.
Setting the room before shows. This includes light cleaning, table \& chair orientation, linen replenishment, and laying out table decor.
Ensure restrooms are clean and orderly (replacing supplies, wiping counters, etc..).
Working coat check \& the merch table for designated events and shows.
Assisting the house manager with any additional tasks.
Qualifications:
This position best suits someone outgoing and confident, with strong social skills. This job is catered to someone seeking long\-term, but part\-time work.
MUST be able to comfortably see, hear, and communicate in loud environments with dim lighting.
MUST be able to stand for extended periods of time, hours at minimum.
MUST be able to comfortably walk up steep flights of stairs repeatedly throughout a shift.
MUST be able to comfortably lift \~ pounds, lift \& move banquet style chairs, wheelchairs, walkers, etc...
MUST have evening and weekend availability.
Strong verbal communication and "people" skills. This position is largely a team oriented job!
Ability to independently use technology such as handheld ticket scanners, and tablets.
