    Job Summary
    The Executive Director of Child Welfare Agency role is crucial in operating and overseeing all aspects of the CCBYS program including staff supervision and enforcement of all applicable policies and procedures. The ideal candidate must have the ability to lead a team of diverse staff. The candidate must also be able to oversee and implement trauma informed practices to effectively serve the communities in which ICCS provides youth services. Candidates selected by ICCS for consideration will be required to provide a brief writing sample.
    What is CCBYS?
    CCBYS is a statewide 24/7 crisis intervention system. Providers are mandated to serve youth in crisis. These are youth who are away from home without parental consent and youth beyond the control of their parents in circumstances which constitute an immediate or substantial danger to the youth's physical safety. CCBYS also serves, in conjunction with DCFS, youth whose parents will not allow them to return home. Further, CCBYS may serve youth in high\-risk situations, and their families when appropriate, according to their needs and in keeping with the goal of family preservation, reunification and/or family stabilization, or independence.
    Duties
    Oversee the day\-to\-day management of the child welfare agency, ensuring all programs align with the agency's mission and goals.
    Writing, disseminating, and enforcing policies and procedures.
    Function as the primary contact of the 24/7 crisis line
    Ensure compliance with applicable laws, including Licensure of Direct Child Welfare Service Employees and Supervisors
    Β· Report to the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer regarding program performance, compliance, and the implementation of strategic goals.
    Skills
    Master's Degree in Social Work from accredited school of social work required
    Five years’ full\-time work experience in social work administration
