- The digital content creator is a new role within the marketing and communications team.
Alongside our digital marketing officer (DMO), the creator will be responsible for building, growing, nurturing, and managing digital content.
As a team we are moving towards a digital first approach so this role is a great opportunity for someone to support shaping that, and engage with a varied audience from visitors and potential visitors to one of our three attractions, commercial Archaeologists, history hobbyists, special interest groups and other, like minded business.
This role requires someone who is creative and can identify, create, manage and deliver digital content using a range of techniques, across channels including websites, social media and ideally podcasts, although that is not essential.
We will be specifically asking you to plan and deliver digital content, activities and campaigns across our existing digital communication channels for the following:
York Archaeology attractions; including JORVIK Viking Centre, Barley Hall and DIG.
This includes events, exhibitions, collections and JORVIK Viking Festival.
York Archaeology commercial.
York Archaeology learning and community engagement.
For an informal discussion, please contact Lisa Wood on 01904 663045\.
