    Come work as a Movement Disorder Neurologist with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!
    The UBC Movement Disorders Clinic/Pacific Parkinson’s Research Centre is seeking an FRCPC Certified Neurologist eligible for independent practice in BC with fellowship training in Movement Disorders. The successful candidate will be able to practice subspecialty movement disorder neurology in the outpatient clinic of the UBC Hospital/Djavad Mowafaghian Centre for Brain Health. They will also be expected to participate in the general neurology service for Vancouver General Hospital where 30\+ neurologists share coverage as well as on call coverage for UBC Hospital and for the Rapid Access to Consultative Expertise (RACE) line. Income will be derived from Medical Services Plan (MSP) billing and Medical on Call Availability Plan (MOCAP).

  • Knowledge \& Abilities:
    Minimum 1 year Movement Disorder Fellowship with interest in the treatment of Parkinson's disease including advanced therapies and related disorders.
    Participation in the academic activities and contribution to clinical trials is an expectation.
    UBC Hospital and VCH are teaching hospitals and therefore teaching of medical students, residents and fellows is mandatory.
