Responsibilities

• Support Arup software development teams in piloting internally developed digital solutions
• Apply technical knowledge to support engineering and design teams on projects
• Support Arup initiatives in advancing digital twins
• Support the deployment of construction-focused technologies
• Work with internal technical and domain experts to design and implement data management
• Development of code/programs to automate workflows
• Support preparation of documentation and presentation of solutions

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Engineering, Digital Transformation, Construction Management, or Computer Science, or comparable major
• Interest and passion for all aspects of the built environment and how ideas become reality
• Familiarity with development and/or use of digital twin technologies
• Awareness of or experience with industry-leading Building Information Modeling authoring and design coordination platforms
• Experience with recognized parametric design/scripting modeling software
• Strong communication skills
• Presentation skills
• Team collaboration skills
• Awareness of or experience with engineering standards and practices preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Awareness of or experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure preferred
• Must be eligible to work in the US without employer-sponsored work authorization
