WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Excellent client, patient care, customer service \& people skills
Avimark knowledge is an asset
2\+ years experience working in general practice (preferred)
Competed diploma for Veterinary Technician, Preferably Registered
Bilingual (French/English) would be preferable
Experience in the following tasks:
Performing tasks in diagnostics (blood collection, radiographs, lab work), surgery (catheter placement, induction, monitoring, post\-operative care), dental prophy, client education, restraint, grooming (nail trims, ear plucking/cleaning) and client services tasks (booking appointments, follow\-up calls, payments, client communications).
WHAT WE OFFER
We have flexible hours and we are closed every weekend as well as all statutory holidays. There is no on call.
We are a tight\-knit group, have modern equipment in a modern facility (including digital dental and whole body radiograph, no film processing!).

About us
The Hamlet Veterinary Hospital
We opened in January 2017 as a fresh startup and have been rapidly growing since. We are located in the Ottawa's east end, easy to access Blackburn Hamlet neighbourhood. We focus on excellent client service and patient care.
Our goal is to have a work place where the whole team, the clients and the patients are happy. We have incorporated more and more Fear Free protocols and encourage our staff to get Fear Free certified. We are a family owned practice and the well being of all team member is important to us. Our team is bilingual and about 40% of our clientele is francophone.
Our current team of 5 veterinarians 4\-5 veterinary technicians and 5 other ( receptions/manager/veterinary assistants).
