Responsibilities

• Liaising with patients by phone & letter
• Booking appointments
• Liaising with consultants and their secretaries
• Managing a Central inbox and actioning queries
• Pre-authorisation for insured patients
• Ensuring timely completion of appointments on EPR system
• Scanning & auditing of patient information
• Ad hoc administrative tasks

Requirements

• Excellent organisational skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills – written and oral
• Ability to work under pressure with set deadlines
• Experience using a Patient Administration System (PAS) is an advantage
• Computer literate, particularly with Word and Outlook
• Experience with an Electronic Patient Record system is an advantage
