Responsibilities
- design, configure, and deploy lan, wan, and wireless networks
- install, support, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network hardware
- monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues proactively
- implement and manage network security protocols, including vpn, acls, and firewalls
- maintain and update documentation related to network topology, configurations, and procedures
- provide support for network-related service requests and incidents
- collaborate with system administrators and support teams to resolve infrastructure issues
- conduct routine backups and network audits
- ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- work with vendors and service providers as needed
Requirements
- bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering or similar role
- strong understanding of tcp/ip, dns, dhcp, routing, and switching
- experience with cisco, juniper, fortinet, or similar network devices
- familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., prtg, solarwinds, nagios)
- certification preferred: ccna / ccnp / comptia network+ / fortinet nse
- excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

- We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting our network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
- • $180\.00 per day Work Location: Hybrid remote in Downtown Core
Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and deploy LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
Install, support, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network hardware.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
Implement and manage network security protocols, including VPN, ACLs, and firewalls.
Maintain and update documentation related to network topology, configurations, and procedures.
Provide support for network\-related service requests and incidents.
Collaborate with system administrators and support teams to resolve infrastructure issues.
Conduct routine backups and network audits.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Work with vendors and service providers as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3\+ years of hands\-on experience in network engineering or similar role.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar network devices.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, SolarWinds, Nagios).
Certification preferred: CCNA / CCNP / CompTIA Network\+ / Fortinet NSE.
Excellent analytical, problem\-solving, and communication skills.
