Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of freight forwarding operations, including bookings, pickups, and deliveries.
- Prepare and review documentation required for customs clearance and international shipping.
- Communicate with clients, carriers, and customs brokers regarding shipment status and any issues that may arise.
- Monitor freight rates and negotiate with carriers to ensure cost-effective transportation solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies related to shipping and logistics.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and update tracking systems as necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues related to their shipments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline logistics processes and improve overall efficiency.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, business, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management preferred.
- Strong understanding of shipping regulations, customs procedures, and international trade.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English.
- A second language in Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and freight management software.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.

Job Description:
The Freight Forwarding Technician will be responsible for managing and coordinating the shipment of goods for our clients. This involves liaising with carriers, customs authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant delivery of shipments.
