We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to customer service and safety, with the ability to operate tow trucks efficiently. This role requires a blend of driving skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to handle various roadside situations while providing excellent service to customers in need.
Responsibilities
Operate tow trucks safely and efficiently to transport vehicles from one location to another.
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting stranded motorists and addressing their needs promptly.
Perform basic automotive services such as lockouts, tire changes, battery jumpstart needed during roadside assistance calls.
Load and unload vehicles onto the tow truck, ensuring proper securing techniques are used. Recovery of vehicles in accidents with cleanup.
Maintain accurate records of services rendered and vehicle conditions.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding service requests and updates.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on duty.
Manage conflict situations with professionalism, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.
Skills
Proficient in operating tow trucks and other commercial vehicles.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Basic mechanical skills for automotive roadside assistance
Experience in loading and unloading vehicles safely.
Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
Ability to manage conflicts effectively, ensuring positive outcomes for customers.
Knowledge of automotive repair principles is a plus.
Forklift operation experience is advantageous but not required.
