Responsibilities
- take calls from technicians seeking technical support
- communicate troubleshooting information to customers
- screen calls and provide information for call-backs
- review FAP parts inventory
- process warranty parts for shipping
- determine equipment status (recover, cannibalize, scrap)
- safeguard warranty inventory
- conduct cyclical parts inventory
- keep warranty and parts area organized
- evaluate suppliers based on product history
- recommend improvements to warranty procedures
- assist in additional duties as requested

- HVAC industry company is seeking a Technical Support technician to join our growing team. The Technical Support team will effectively resolve technical issues regarding our air-conditioning units and answer any questions from customers. The ideal candidate MUST be bilingual (English/Spanish).
Take calls from technicians seeking Technical Support (HVAC)
Effectively communicate troubleshooting information and help customers resolve technical issues or warranty questions
Make a detail screening of the person calling and give the information to the in-house technician for call-back if issue could not be resolved
Technical skills desired, but not required (HVAC)
Must be open to learning new skills such as computer software and technical details
Review FAP parts inventory
Process the warranty parts (identify and pack for shipping)
Process the equipment returned by customers
Determine if equipment to be (recovered, cannibalize, scrap)
Equipment recovered to be transferred to the warehouse or make available for sale in the Warranty Department
Be the safeguard of all Warranty Inventory
Make cyclical parts inventory
Keep warranty and parts area clean and organized
Review product and parts history to help evaluate suppliers
Make recommendation to improve the Warranty procedures
Assist the Warranty Department in any additional duties requested

Pay: $18.00 per hour
