Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, delivers and evaluates informal and formal campus student life activities and events.
• Liaise with student union and college departments to support the delivery of their activities.
• Prepares and tracks budgets and fees for activities and programs.
• Coordinates the hiring of student staff including training and scheduling.
• Acts as the First Aid responder in the event of an accident.

Requirements

• Graduation from a two-year Recreation diploma program or equivalent is required.
• Must be registered with the British Columbia Recreation and Parks Association or equivalent in weight training.
• A minimum of 2 years related experience in recreation is required.
• Previous experience in working with post-secondary services for students is preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience is an asset.
