Now, we're excited to be expanding our product development efforts by announcing an opening for a Product Development Manager to help shape the next generation of classroom resources.
As Product Development Manager, youβll collaborate with a diverse team of educators, marketers, developers, and creators to bring exciting, effective educational resources to life.
Weβre looking for someone who understands the technical, design, budget, and feasibility sides of turning a concept into a finished product \
Take an idea or rough draft and transform it into a polished, market\-ready product.
Work closely with purchasing, shipping, marketing, and product development teams\-as well as teachers and students \
Youβll start by focusing on our World Language division, but your creativity and expertise may also help develop products for our ELA and Social Studies divisions in the future.
Job responsibilities are as follows:
Identify market needs and opportunities by analyzing teacher feedback, classroom trends, and competitive products.
Collaborate with team members to define product roadmaps and development priorities.
Translate big\-picture ideas into actionable product concepts.
Oversee the end\-to\-end product development processβfrom concept and design to production and launch.
Ensure products are pedagogically sound, culturally relevant, and aligned with educational standards (e.g., ACTFL, Common Core).
Manage product budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with authors, educators, designers, editors, illustrators, and others to bring products to market.
Set clear goals, track progress, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
