About the role
------------------
We are growing our debt team of 30 staff to 46, so this is a great opportunity to join us as a Trainee Debt Caseworker. Both trained advisers and new comers to the debt service are welcome to apply. Full training can be provided.
You will:
Have the ability to commit to and work within the aims, principles and policies of the Citizens Advice service.
Be able to work with clients, who may be stressed or vulnerable, with empathy and patience, displaying excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You should be able to work confidently and independently.
Be willing to work using various platforms which could include phone, webchat, video call.
Excellent PC literacy skills will enable you to work with a variety of computer applications/systems. You should be able to work on your own initiative and be willing to commit to continuous development and an extensive training programme. Good English and Maths qualifications are a prerequisite in applying for this post.
You should be able to demonstrate how you manage your own wellbeing/resilience at an interview.
* Be happy to work alongside other colleagues in a collaborative way within a call centre environment.
