    Are you passionate about inclusive education and preparing young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) for the world of work? Do you have the skills to deliver engaging employability teaching and tailored one\-to\-one support? If so, this could be the opportunity for you.
    We are seeking a Supported Internship Tutor to join our Supported Internship programme in East London. In this vital role, you will plan and deliver classroom learning to interns, support them in gaining Pearson’s Employability Work Skills accreditation, and ensure they are fully prepared for successful progression into employment. You will also collaborate with employers, local authorities, families, and job coaches to ensure every intern receives the support they need.
    Main Duties and Responsibilities Deliver classroom and remote teaching sessions, including literacy and numeracy, from Entry Level to Level
    Develop and assess Pearson’s Employability Work Skills portfolios with each intern
    Design and deliver individual learning plans and transition plans
    Provide : tuition and emotional/social support as needed
    Coordinate recruitment and educational assessments for interns joining the programme
    Work closely with local authorities, employers, families, and job coaches to ensure integrated support and successful progression
    Attend host employer inductions and plan job modifications with workplace managers
    Support interns in securing letters of recommendation and preparing for future employment
    Maintain accurate records and contribute to internal quality assurance
    Promote safeguarding, equality, and health and safety in all activities
    Skills, Experience and QualificationExperience A proven track record of successfully supporting young people with SEND
    Experience delivering group learning and one\-to\-one coaching
    Experience developing learning plans and tracking progress
    Strong IT, administration, and organisational skills
    NVQ Level or equivalent in Careers Education, Youth Work, or Social Care (or working towards)
    Flexible, positive and solutions\-focused approach
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a range of stakeholders
    Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
    Understanding of safeguarding and a commitment to promoting equality and inclusion
    Experience in the employment and skills sector
