- Established commercial door distributor is seeking an experienced Project Manager/Estimator for commercial construction projects. The Project Manager/Estimator is responsible for sales, detailing awarded projects, preparing submittals, placing orders, performing take offs, interpreting specifications, and providing estimates. Knowledge of construction practices and procedures within the respective field is a prerequisite. Must be able to work with team members. Will also be responsible for acquiring and building new accounts, promoting services and forming relationships.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Interpreting/Detailing plans and specs.
Preparing submittals.
Placing orders.
Communicating with clients.
Maintaining job schedules.
Obtain and evaluate vendor proposals.
Create bid proposals.
Qualified Candidates must have:
Specific experience in commercial door sales.
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize to meet deadlines.
Ability to pay close attention to detail.
High level of commitment, integrity and motivation.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to multitask.
Strong computer, data entry and phone skills.
