    About You
    As a Business Analyst working in a fast\-paced Information Technology department, you will be instrumental in uniting business requirements with functional requirements for diverse technology projects at TASB. Your work will directly affect the delivery of successful technology projects to provide value to both our staff and our members. This is a hybrid role at our North Austin headquarters, requiring selected candidate to work onsite up to two days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday).
    A Typical Day
    Partner with business owners to effortlessly translate business needs into technical lingo and vice versa.
    Build and maintain a broad view of business processes to understand dependencies, redundancies, and cross functional impacts.
    Lead and facilitate requirements gathering sessions with the user community.
    Develop use cases to explain the business requirements and contribute a business user’s perspective during design sessions.
    Analyze, design, and document β€œas\-is” and β€œto be” business processes, leading to clear understanding of requirements

    How You’ll Make an Impact
    Collaborate with various team members to develop solutions.
    Coordinate across IT to evaluate solutions that might currently exist within the organization.
    Create and maintain documentation on business areas’ processes and business rules.
    Manage user testing and training for new technology and solutions.
    Lead and facilitate group work sessions.
    Champion an excellent customer experience.
    Mentor and work with other business analysts as required.
    Skills for Success
    Education and Experience
    Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology, Business, or related field.
    Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) certification is a plus.

  • Experience with custom software development, Software as a Service (SaaS) or integration projects.
    Experience in organizing and managing a product backlog.

    Skilled at creating professional documentation using MS Office tools.
