Responsibilities
  • build and fabricate metal components
  • read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
  • operate MIG welding machines (experience considered an asset)
  • assist with collaborative and robotic welding operations
  • package equipment and components for coatings or shipment
  • assist welders and technicians during project builds
  • use cranes and forklifts
  • housekeeping duties as required
  • clean & organize parts and equipment as required
  • maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • follow all health and safety protocols
Requirements
  • experience in a manufacturing or fabrication setting
  • ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • able to lift, bench, push, or pull up to 50 lbs unassisted
  • complete repetitive motions such as kneeling, bending, twisting, sitting, standing or crouching for long periods
  • walk variable distances
  • reach both arms overhead or from below the knee level
  • forklift and overhead crane experience (asset)
  • class 5 driver’s license (asset)
  • strong time management and teamwork skills

    About the Role: Manufacturing Laborer (Welder\`s Helper)
    As a Manufacturing Laborer (Welder\`s Helper), you will support our fabrication and welding teams in the production of advanced automation equipment. You’ll assist with the assembly, packaging, and preparation of components, and gain hands\-on experience with welding robots, cranes, and other shop tools. This role is ideal for someone with strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a desire to grow within a high\-performance manufacturing environment.
    Key Responsibilities
    Build and fabricate metal components
    Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
    Operate MIG welding machines (experience considered an asset)
    Assist with collaborative and robotic welding operations
    Package equipment and components for coatings or shipment
    Assist welders and technicians during project builds
    Use cranes and forklifts
    Housekeeping duties as required
    Clean \& organize parts and equipment as required
    Maintain a clean and safe work environment
    Follow all health and safety protocols
    Desired Skills \& Qualifications
    Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication setting
    Ability to work in a fast\-paced production environment
    Able to lift, bench, push, or pull up to 50 lbs unassisted
