Your primary duties will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements to optimize service efficiency.
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a warm and friendly first impression.
Manage the reservation system and seating chart to ensure efficient table turnover.
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus while explaining any specials or promotions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff regarding guest needs and special requests.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or feedback in a professional manner to ensure satisfaction.
Assist in training new hosts/hostesses as needed.
Skills
Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
