The Oshkosh IT Intern position on the Enterprise ServiceNow team is responsible for building business applications and workflows within ServiceNow. The intern will work with a team of developers to build or mature applications that meet business requirements. The IT team is responsible for testing and debugging applications, as well as documenting application code and processes. The objective of this role is to further your insight within Information Technology and actively apply your knowledge and enhance your skillset.
The ServiceNow team supports all Oshkosh Segments and Departments to build Business solutions using various technologies and integrations within ServiceNow. Duties will provide exposure to Data Management, Low code development, Business Analysis, Testing, Project Management, and Technical Analysis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
These duties are not meant to be all\-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned.
Provide day\-to\-day application support
Learn to identify, analyze, and implement information technology business practices to support strategic business processes and plans.
Participation in design, development, test, and technology integrations.
Perform activities according to project plans and schedule.
YOUR IMPACT
As an Oshkosh IT Intern, you will:
Assist in testing, debugging, and optimizing applications to ensure business needs and quality standards are met.
Document application processes and provide support during the integration and deployment phases.
Explore and stay up to date with the latest industry trends (AI, automation, etc.).
Exercise creative thinking and innovative ways to work.
Assist with implementing new functionality in ServiceNow.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Information Security, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of IT concepts, including application development, project planning, and data management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills with a customer\-service\-oriented mindset.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
Effectively collaborate with others, demonstrate teamwork, and build positive relationships.
Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem\-solving abilities.
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
Cumulative GPA of 3\.0 or higher.
Familiarity with standard technologies such as javascript, Active Directory, etc.
Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms.
Knowledge of Agile or SCRUM methodologies.
* Knowledge of Generative AI technologies (e.g., prompt engineering, data chunking, and embedding).
