    We’re looking for a proactive individual, keen to take on the integral role of Medical Information Specialist within our expanding operation in the UK, working with some of the biggest names in the pharmaceutical industry. Â

    Responsibilities
    Complete product and therapy area training; become familiar with the SmPCs for the product(s) assigned to; keep up\-to\-date on therapy area and product knowledge. Â
    Follow client instructions and processes for managing inquiries, and developing Global Response Documents (GRD) within the required timelines. Â
    Using systems to manage inquiries and all aspects of response document development and approvals Â
    Monitor inquiry inbox/system for inquiries escalated to the Global team; monitor email inbox for inquiries to be handled as briefed by the client. Â
    Undertake appropriate literature searches (within PubMed; EMBASE; Google Scholar) Â
    Define the scope of the literature search and identify appropriate keywords accordingly to address the inquiry topic Â
    Critically evaluate literature search results Â
    Identify key references of relevance to the inquiry; where applicable, critically evaluate additional references cited within these key references Â
    Critically assess content of each reference to identify the key information and data of relevance to the inquiry Â
    Draft GRDs de novo, update expired documents in line with the latest version of the Style Guide and GRD template Â

    Qualifications and Experience: Â
    Essential
    Degree in life science, pharmacy or proven equivalent experience Â
    Experience working in Medical Information Â
    Writing experience in a pharmaceutical/healthcare/med comms setting Â
    Ability to interpret and analyse clinical/scientific data Â
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills Â
    Ability to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Â
    A strong commitment to providing high\-level client service and delivering results Â

    Desirable
    Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel Â
