    Job Summary:
    The Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA), Human Resources Division, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced People Solutions Manager. This pivotal role demands deep expertise in human resources principles and practices, as it will be instrumental in supporting and advancing all statewide HR initiatives. The People Solutions Manager will leverage a strong foundation in HR to make data\-driven recommendations for strategies that improve organizational outcomes, drawing upon best practices in talent management, organizational development, compensation, benefits, and employee relations.
    Beyond a solid HR knowledge base, this position requires adept project leadership, including advising project teams on effective goal setting, developing robust HR\-specific metrics, and creating insightful dashboards to monitor progress and the impact of HR programs. A core function of this role is to ensure that all statewide human resources initiatives are meticulously defined with clear HR objectives, flawlessly executed, and communicated with exceptional clarity and effectiveness to all HR stakeholders, facilitators, and partners across the state. The successful candidate will be a strategic HR leader with a proven ability to translate HR theory into practical, impactful solutions, ultimately contributing to a more effective and efficient state workforce. The position will occasionally be required to engage in sensitive employee relations work.

    Job Duties:
    Provide guidance to project managers and project teams to ensure on\-time, on\-budget delivery of departmental initiatives
    Develop a deep understanding of all human resources projects and initiatives and identify areas for improvement and also for collaboration across teams
    Create dashboards and establish appropriate metrics to track progress of departmental initiatives and to facilitate timely decisions to maintain project schedules, quality and budgets
    Provide subject matter expertise in areas including program management, project management, project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation, facilitation, and other project management areas
    Using tools from the Arizona Management System (AMS) champion overall HR team effectiveness by highlighting process, resource, and solution inefficiencies and propose solutions for continuous improvement
    Knowledge, Skills \& Abilities (KSAs):

    HR practices, emerging technologies, trends, methodologies, and resource management principles at an in\-depth level
    Principles and practices of recruiting, employee relations, performance management, and other HR\-related topics
