Full job description
    (Hourly rate subject to knowledge & experience)
    Overview
    We are looking for a motivated Plumber Apprentice to train directly under our Master Plumber with the goal of progressing to Journeyman and, ultimately, Master Plumber status. This full-time position offers competitive pay and a clear, supported career path within our organization.
    Key Duties
    Assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, including water-supply lines, drainage systems, gas piping, fixtures, and water heaters
    Locate and diagnose leaks, clogs, and other malfunctions; perform basic troubleshooting and repairs
    Measure, cut, thread, solder, braze, and assemble pipes and fittings under supervision
    Perform routine preventive maintenance, such as flushing water heaters, testing backflow devices, and inspecting pumps and valves
    Support the Master Plumber on projects and and finishes
    Maintain clean job sites, proper tool storage, and accurate parts inventory
    Record work performed and materials used; complete service tickets and inspection reports
    Follow all OSHA regulations, local plumbing codes, and company safety policies
    Requirements
    Genuine interest in the plumbing trade with a strong desire to learn and advance
    High school diploma or GED;
    Plumbing license or certification in a trade or vocational coursework is a plus
    Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with common hand and power tools
    Ability to read or willingness to learn to read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
    Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safe work practices
    Physical capacity to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and tolerate varying weather conditions
    Valid and reliable transportation

    $11.00 – $14.00 per hour
    Expected Hours
    40 per week, with overtime for urgent repairs as needed

    8-hour shifts
    Monday – Friday
    Work Location
    In person – work will take place at customer sites, commercial facilities, and new-construction projects within the service area.
